Sthithapragna Tsunami
I always liked chess…I used to play very well in my family when I used to play it…my main strength was patience and taking time and finally winning..:I rarely played time bound and when I played time bound and that too online I always made mistakes…and I watch all these blitz matches; they r just making so many moves per minute and wonder how they think so fast and not make mistakes…a traffic police in a busy junction in blr or any city is always in a lot of chaos….everyone wants to go and everyone keeps honking…he still handles it all well in the dust, in the heat and in the rains sometime…u will know his value when he is not there…always wondered the toughest job is to manage the kids in the kindergarten…no beating…shouting, reasoning doesn’t help…still needs to engage and manage…test matches in Australia are the toughest…Aussies make their own opportunities and build on them and once they smell a chance they pounce on the opponent team..imagine a series decider, playing for a draw..:30 overs to bat and last wicket and warnie bowling and all the fielders around sledging..:non striker can’t bat much…and still batting it out..:keeping ur cool and batting it out… demanding customers, timing, drc, database issues, tool crashes all in the same timing window and a release to be made…our own tsunami against a tsunami..:and as cool as Dhoni..:like Mount Fuji-san standing strong amid earthquakes and disasters…not once getting angry or losing cool…they say Yudhisthira gets his name because he remains firm in the battle…takes the right decisions despite all the battle, all the relatives at war, the emotions…our own swami san is a Sthithapragna…the crosstalks, the variations, the jitters, skews, uncertainties are all false path…like a shielded clock route…it’s a pleasure to have you as a friend swami…learnt a lot from u…happy birthday 🙂
